About us

Raffaleo combines the passion for good wine with the pleasure of enjoying “haute cuisine” made with refined selected ingredients.

The kitchen

The kitchen is our flagship. We just love good food: we prepare it with dedication, combining Italian tradition with new cooking techniques, using the finest seasonal products. We do not restrict our cuisine to just one Italian region, we like to represent Italy as a whole. However, we have a small flaw: everything is made in the house.

The Winery

The winery is the outcome of our passion for wine: a wine culture acquired over the years, wandering through vineyards, Italian wineries, and around the world. Raffaleo is not only well represented by Piedmont wines; it offers a wide selection from all over Italy and has a good variety of wines from all over the world.

The Master Mind

Gerri Sottile

Executive Chef, Restaurant Director, Sommelier

He is the father and creator of the Raffaleo project. Gerri boasts over thirty years of experience in all aspects of the world of food & beverage both as chef and restaurant manager. He has worked and collaborated around the world in the kitchens of numerous world-renowned chefs and alongside the best maître. Gerri has extensive knowledge of wine and holds a Sommelier diploma.

He lived part of his personal and professional growth path in London where he graduated in Business & Tourism and obtained an MBA master’s in business administration.

Gerri co-founded Mangiatutto, a successful group of restaurants in Asia, based in Singapore. The various restaurants showcase the best of Italian, Greek and Spanish cuisines.

Gerri has applied all his restaurant managerial experience to Raffaleo. The result is the birth of a new culinary reality in Turin where you can savor 100% home-made, unique and contemporary cuisine, in a professional yet at the same time cheerful and homely.
